In-Person Classes At DU Start On Wednesday

As the heatwave subsides, Dhaka University (DU) will resume in-person classes from next Wednesday (May 8).

This information was confirmed in a circular signed by Mahmud Alam, director of the university's public relations department, on Monday (May 6) at noon.

It is said in the notification that the classes and examinations of Dhaka University will be held in person as usual from Wednesday, May 8, as the intense heat wave going on across the country has reached a bearable level.

University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal approved this decision today.

It may be noted that earlier on April 21, the university administration had announced online classes until further notice to avoid health risks due to heat wave.
